Local Services

In Gaydon we have several longstanding Permanent businesses as well as some visiting businesses and some nearby services that you may not be aware of - here's the low-down.

2

Nearby Amenities

Although we don't have a NHS Surgery in the Village, in neighbouring Kineton there are two Local sugeries that you and your family can register with. We also have local restaurants, pubs, farm shops, florists, butchers, opticians, vets, Antique Shops, Curtain/Soft furnishings, Hairdressers/Barbershops.

3

They may not be permanent fixtures, however we have regular visits from the likes of the Mobile Library and The Fish and Chip Man (Thursdays)

Visiting Amenities

Welcome to Gaydon Village. We have compiled a list of local amenities and services that we feel would benefit any newcomers, old timers or visitors. It's the definitive list of everything we wish we'd known sooner when we moved to Gaydon!

Here you will find local businesses, services and clubs that you may not already be aware of, which we hope help you to bed into Village life.

Enjoy.

Situated on the Banbury Road, on the right as you exit the village you will find a peaceful resting place.

Gaydon Cemetery is maintained as a countryside place of peace and repose.

It is a place of rural retreat with an

avenue of trees, meadow areas and cut grass paths. Gaydon Cemetery is a haven for wildlife: a beautiful place to sit and reflect.

Cemetery fees can be found here

Usually, around every 3 weeks, the mobile library stops at the village shop at 13.30pm. It's easy to spot in its Shakespeare themed liveries – Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Romeo & Juliet
